Arkadia Hostel - Helsinki

This place is nice, and has everything I need, like free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a shared kitchen. The staff even helped me with a wake-up call during my first stay! I always look forward to coming back.

the rooms were brand-new with lovely bathroom, the staff were excellent. included central heating, a sitting area and a work desk. the accommodation had a remote location to the train station on the bike.

The location was suitable for my needs, especially with easy transport options, and the room was fairly spacious with a comfortable bed. The cleanliness could definitely be improved, as I noticed some areas that weren't up to par, and the dining options were quite basic. It's a decent spot for a quick stop, but not ideal if you're after more than just the basics.

great access to parks and attractions for weekend strolls

I had a fantastic time exploring nearby landmarks like the Fazer Experience Visitor Centre, just under 2 km away, and the peaceful Brobacka idrottspark, only about 5 minutes on foot.

The bathrooms were quite messy during my stay, with body hair left in the shower and the toilets not being cleaned properly. It, especially in the kitchen where trash wasn't taken out. I did find the location convenient for accessing nearby attractions. A plus was the price, making it a budget-friendly option, but the messiness was hard to overlook.

Had a better experience than expected! The breakfast was decent, and the room was quite comfortable. Plus, it's pet-friendly, so I could bring my furry friend along!
